Happy 2020 Kilkenny Farms Neighbors!
With so many new houses and neighbors since our opening season in 2018, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself, introduce the pool board and chat about a few logistical type things. Then, we can dive into what's new and exciting as we approach our 2020 season!
I'm Courtney Cerdena, I have been President of the Kilkenny Farms pool board since November 2017. On the board with me is Tiffani Drake, Cassie Meffert, Matt Wentzel, Becky Stoppenbach, Josh Mueller and Brian Lukens. Tiffani, Cassie, and Matt all join me as original board members, Becky joined us in year two, and we are very excited to have Josh and Brian joining us this year!
WHAT IS A POOL BOARD?
The pool board is a “board of directors” for the non-profit incorporation that was created to manage and maintain operation of the pool (Kilkenny Farms Neighborhood Pool, Inc.) The board is a governing body that typically meets at regular intervals to set policies and oversight. The people who are on the board are Kilkenny Farms neighbors who are volunteering their time to ensure the pool opens, operates, and closes each summer. During the time that a board member is actively holding a seat on the board, their annual dues are waved each season.
