What is a Pool Board?
The pool board is a “board of directors” for the non-profit incorporation that was created to manage and maintain the operation of the pool (Kilkenny Farms Neighborhood Pool, Inc.) The board is a governing body that typically meets at regular intervals to set policies and oversight.
The people who are on the board are Kilkenny Farms neighbors who are volunteering their time to ensure the pool opens, operates, and closes each summer. During the time that a board member is actively holding a seat on the board, their annual dues are waived each season.
